TypeSafe drops the Jev waitlist; new accounts start with $5
Five days after launch, TypeSafe posted that Jev is available to everyone, with no waitlist. Every account starts with $5 of credit, about 120 million input tokens at the published $0.042 per million.

This desk already covered the September 17 batch, when Kevin Zhang said TypeSafe would release 20,000 accounts in an hour and warned people off the Helium browser. Five days after launch, the queue itself is gone.
Gateways that listed Jev during the waitlist week are still listed on access. Vercel still advertised free promotional pricing on AI Gateway through September 25. The $5 is console credit on TypeSafe’s own bill, not that promo.

OpenRouter, Cloudflare, Netlify, Vercel, and Venice already listed Jev while TypeSafe still ran a queue. Those doors stay in the access index. Vercel's promotional free pricing on the Gateway still ends September 25. The $5 is TypeSafe console credit, billed at TypeSafe's published rate, not a Gateway promo. LiteLLM's pass-through, covered separately, still needs a TypeSafe key on the proxy.
